My translation specializations include marketing and advertising within the fields of beauty, cosmetics, and entertainment. I am based in New York, NY, and am a member of ATA (American Translators Association) and Translation Industry Professionals KAJ (trade union in Finland for multilingual communication professionals).
With over five years of experience from working as a full-time marketing translator both in-house and as a freelancer, I take pride in delivering high-quality Finnish translation and localization, always considering the client’s needs, the target audience and the objective of the translation.
Having an MBA in International Business Management, I combine business knowledge with broad language and translation skills. Throughout the years I have also polished my language skills by working and studying in various language environments in different countries, including Sweden, France, Germany, and the United States.
In order to deliver quick and consistent translations, I work with different CAT tools, such as SDL Trados, Memsource, and MemoQ.
